Inspired by an instagram post, I decided to use the (very) few eye shadow pallets I own to come up with this pinky red and green eye makeup look!
After applying my base, contour and brows I started off with my Morphe 12NB pallet, going in with the second to last colour on the bottom row in my crease. I used the base shadow brush by Real Techniques (aka my second favourite brush ever).
Then I took the orange-y colour above it and went over the brown in my crease whilst bringing the orange further down on the lid using the same brush (because I’m a bad beauty blogger).
Then I whipped out my NYX ultimate brights pallet and used the first colour red on the outer and middle portions of my lid, still using the same damn brush (because I only have one good one, okay jeez). And then finally swapping to an unknown Costal Scents fluffy eyeshadow brush I blended it all in. I like to keep this brush for blending so I never put product on it.
Then back to Morphe (or the devil, depending on who you speak to), I used the 12S pallet on the middle and inner portion of my lid. Firstly going in with the second one on the bottom row in the middle and the third one on the top row for the inner lid.
Then I took the Tropic A4 brush (my first favourite brush ever), sprayed it with a little bit of setting spray and lined my under eye with the dark green shade from the NYX brights pallet.
Lastly I used the yellow-y highlighter from the Sleek Solstice pallet to highlight my inner corners using the fine liner brush by Real Techniques.
I lined my water line with some black eyeshadow using the accent brush by Real Techniques and then highlighted my brow bone with my normal highligher which is the New Look Glow baked highlighter. I then applied some Tarte tarteist mascara to complete.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments if you try this look out for yourself! I think its versatile and funky without being too in your face. I’ve loved wearing this look today!
